UVClean started with The Cleaning Medic, over 25 years ago, trying to replicate the “Old Age” mattress cleaning method. Remember how our grandparents used to drag the mattresses out in the yard, placing it in the sun & then beating all the gunk out of it. Now we actually know that was their way of killing the dust mites and bacteria in the mattresses, because of the sun’s germicidal ray, UV-C.

 

Come 2020 & the Covid-19 Pandemic strikes in South Africa, science let’s us know that not only does UV-C kill dust mites, like we thought, it in fact kills any micro-organism with a DNA structure such as allergens, viruses, bacteria & mould. This scientific information meant that our UV-C Light can now not only be used to disinfect mattresses, it can also be used any where, in any environment as a dry & chemical free disinfecting method for any surface.

 

Now UVClean is keeping many different environments safe & healthy one light at a time.
